Our Footprint

Our beautiful pieces are made at a factory in China which produces some of Australia’s most recognisable lingerie brands.

We are very proud of our factory that has undergone a SMETA audit procedure through Sedex, to validate their high performance standards around labour rights, health & safety, the environment and business ethics.

Since our inception we have maintained a strong focus on limiting the number of bulk shipments we send and receive globally to help reduce our overall carbon footprint.

All of our materials are sourced from the same country to reduce unnecessary logistics and subsequently our envinormental impact.

We also limit our stock purchase frequency through careful stock planning and ensure all of our international wholesale orders are shipped directly from our factory to our partners which further minimizes our freight requirements and subsequent footprint.

As a brand founded on servicing an underserviced and underrepresented market, diversity and inclusion is at our core. Our Diversity and Inclusion Policy is reflective of these deep intrinsic values, ensuring they are always at the forefront of our decision making.

We understand this is an ongoing commitment so as a business we are actively listening and open to learning, and will continue to always strive for a more diverse and inclusive world.

Reducing our environmental impact has been core to Form and Fold since our inception. Our first collection in 2017 was made from recycled Italian fabric, and each year since then we have continued to source sustainable materials. We recognise there is plenty of room for growth in this area and are aiming to achieve a neutral footprint as our business grows.

We are in the process of switching over all our components to recycled options for existing products and are also investigating sustainable dyeing options. All new products being development are only progressed as fully recycled solutions, a standard which we aim to continue upholding moving forwards.

We stand behind the fair treatment of our suppliers and believe individuals should be free from slavery of any form. As a contributor of the fashion industry, we acknowledge the impact our industry has had on modern slavery. We have made a commitment to ensure our business and supply chain uphold the standards outlined in our code of conduct abolishing the risks of modern slavery and reflect our core ethos and values.

This statement is testament to our ongoing efforts to continue to create an environment that is free from forced labour, child labour or any behaviour that undermines the freedoms and rights of a human being.

All of our suppliers are required to sign our Code of Conduct which outlines the minimum level of labour standards that we require our partners to meet.
